Artist and Photographer Nancy Fletcher comes from
the United Kingdom and is currently living and
working in New York.
Born in 1976 in rural Lincolnshire, Nancy developed an admiration for discipline and creativity from life on the farm. Her father’s love of his work and motivation to nurture their surroundings helped shape her ideas of beauty, happiness, and hard work.
Taking an interest in black & white photography, Nancy entered The Edinburgh Art College to study Fine Art Photography. This led to a professional career in London as an Architectural Photographer and a freelance Food and Portrait Photographer.
After years of work noticing the limitations photography was placing on her creative endeavors, Nancy turned her focus to the study of Fine Art and Classical Representational Painting which she has loved ever since.
